Seriously, were did the week go? Wednesday nights we put out the garbage and it feels like it was only like two days ago that we last did it! And, it’s already March. It’s actually almost half-way through March, did you know? I feel like the days are going by twice as fast as they should and I’m liking it so far!
Thanks for all of the advice on the pumpkin pie filling from my post yesterday! Everyone had great ideas and I’m still contemplating what I want to do with it. I looked at the ingredients on the can and it unfortunately has wheat in it. Since I’m avoiding gluten, I’m not going to eat it myself but I think I might make some sort of baked good for my family 🙂
This morning I used the new microwave for my oats and they turned out pretty good! I like how I don’t have to wash a pot AND a bowl after breaky!
Banana Sundae Oats:
In the microwave:
1/2 cup oats
3/4 cup water
1/2 tbsp chia seeds
1/4 of a banana
shredded coconut (I used sweetened)
1/4 of a banana
Tonight we had pasta for dinner. It was so good! We also had some steamed broccoli and salad. Lately, I’ve been loving topping my salads with 1 tsp of olive oil and a drizzle of agave syrup. Yummers!
In the pasta:
As much cooked pasta as you want (I always use brown rice pasta)
Jarred or homemade pasta sauce
Trader Joe’s Soy Chorizo (OMG Yum!)
Method: Put in a pot and heat it up! The soy chorizo is the star in this meal.
After dinner I killed my sweet tooth (for now) with a Dove chocolate ❤
